Medal of Honor Limited Edition

Why should you get it? Why, because you’ll be rewarded with a bunch of digital guns unlocks! Who doesn’t love digital guns? They’re all pewpewpew.

Like Bad Company 2 before it, Medal of Honor will be launching a ‘limited edition,’ which really just means “buying a copy of the game new when it comes out.” Which you will inherently be doing if you buy the game during the launch period. So, what do you get if you buy the game, then? “Exclusive access to the MP7, a unique weapon utilized by Tier 1 Operators in the field.  Limited Edition owners will also benefit from day-one access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns.” And why would you want the MP7? Greg Goodrich has the answer. Access to a weapon like the MP7 will allow players to experience a tool developed with the Special Operations Community in mind,” said Greg Goodrich, Executive Producer of Medal of Honor. With its light weight, high rate of fire and its ability to penetrate body armor, the MP7 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle.

Here’s a trailer, in case you’re not convinced.

There, you can watch these fabled guns in action. Shotties seem good, but then again, they’re shotties. They’re supposed to decimate at close range. And remember, if you’re a member of the Gun Club and you own Bad Company 2, you can also unlock the M24 from the get-go, too. Basically, I’ll be running around with a bunch of guns right from the start, which isn’t such a bad thing.

If you’re interested in the limited edition, you can pre-order straight from EA here, at no extra charge.
