3 fictional universes that should go MMO
It’s really easy to imagine a well-established fictional world as an MMO. Any imaginative world beyond our own has factions, races, neat archetypes and cities that could be strung together into another WoW clone. As much as we all would like to see innovation beyond that, here’s my top three “why by Odin’s raven does this not exist?” contenders for fictional universes that haven’t already been made into MMO’s. Expect the “verse” suffix attached inccorectly to many words and plenty of foolish optimism.

This is a story about a girl. No, not in the way you’re thinking. Not really, anyway. I’m not talking about the girl next door or the redhead behind the counter at the coffee shop. The girl this story is

Dofus Review: A pretty gem with one too many flaws
I’m just going to start with this. I hate the standard MMORPG gameplay. I hate cool-downs, auto-targeting, and watching arrows curve to hit me because the shooter’s accuracy stat defeated my agility stat. I often look at games with a system like this and wonder, “Why don’t they just be honest and make it turn-based? It’s all decided by ability scores and dice rolls anyways.” Dofus, while quite enjoyable in many ways, has made me eat my words on that opinion.

TERA has a player-driven political system
The world of massive online RPGs seems to have leaned away from too many player-driven systems these days. It’s a reasonable trend from a designer’s standpoint. Us gamers with our pesky free will can create all kinds of chaos if

Impressions- Dungeon Blitz beta
Dungeon Blitz, for the benefit of the vast chunk of the human race that has never heard of it, is a free-to-play MMO, currently in Beta, that is best described as a “side-scrolling semi-metroidvania-ish-shooter-beat-em-up-thingy”. Now Dungeon Blitz is, as

Thoughts on Nonplayer
Fun fact: I don’t read comics; they’ve never captured my interest much. Nonplayer though–this caught my eye right away, and it’s easy to see why. Yes, I’m very superficial. You throw something like the picture above my way, and I’ll
