Street Fighter X Tekken Character Leak

A video featuring the comical Rufus has surfaced on the website Famitsu, all but guaranteeing him a coveted spot on the Street Fighter X Tekken roster. Although Capcom has not yet officially announced him as a playable character, the leak looks extremely reliable. The last few seconds of the video hints towards Marshall Law making an appearance as well.

It is assumed that Capcom will be revealing more information on Street Fighter X Tekken during the Tokyo Game Show later this week. Already confirmed for the crossover are the following fighters:

Raven, Kuma, Ibuki, Hugo, Dhalsim, Poison, Steve, Yoshimitsu, Sagat, Cammie, Chun Li, Abel, Ken, Ryu, Guile, Kazuya, Nina, King, Marduk, Bob, Julia, and Hwoarang.

Capcom describes Street Fighter vs Tekken as “a 2 vs. 2 tag team-based fighting game where players can freely tag in and out between partners. The game promises to marry the styles of both a 2D and 3D fighting game for a fresh take on the genre! Fans from each series will also be able to play with either Street Fighter’s traditional 6 button layout or Tekken’s 4 button layout!”

Rufus is just the latest reveal of what promises to be a gigantic roster. The hefty American was introduced to the Capcom universe in 2008’s Street Fighter IV as a completely new fighter to the storied series. Street Fighter X Tekken will be released on the PS3, Playstation Vita, and the Xbox 360 in March of 2012.
