Dead Island ramping up towards retail release

With Dead Island‘s September 6th retail release fast approaching, the folks at Deep Silver have released some epic new content to whet your zombie killing appetite.

Yesterday saw the release of a Dead Island digital comic detailing the events leading up to the deadly zombie infestation.  The story takes us on a journey following journalist Roger Howard who is investigating illegal use of the islands natural resources when he discovers something that, to say the least, he was not expecting.

Continuing the build up to retail release, today saw the debut of the official release trailer which showcases some of the beautiful graphics, terrifying zombies, and lead characters of the game.
