Google Will Be Developing Social Games

Yes, you read that right: Google, our eternal digital overlords, are about to try their hand at social games. It seems they are looking for people to help them develop these social games, as there is a listing on Google’s corporate site that states that it is looking for Product Managers for games.

Applicants will get a  “Rare opportunity to grow a brand-new business – Games at Google!” This person will help Google expand as a ‘social platform’ and will be dealing with key issues such as “social gaming, privacy, virality, business, and technical APIs.”

A gaming platform by Google, eh? I wonder how good the games they develop will be? A company that has as many metrics as Google does on any given person might just be able to make some terrifyingly addictive games!
