Video Game Characters Will Be Running Amok In Milwaukee Today

If you live in Wisconsin and have a Bomberman costume lying in your closet, then you are in for a treat.

In an attempt to break the world record set by 376 people in London in 2009, Buyseasons Inc is assembling the largest collection of people gathered in video game costumes ever.

Let's hope we don't see this little guy flying through the air

The Chicago Tribune reports, “Among the video games represented are Angry Birds, God of War, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and Super Mario Bros.”

It is strange that Buyseasons Inc. did not wait until Halloween to attempt to break the record, as the double whammy of the holiday would ensure a large turnout.

I live in Milwaukee – would have gone if I knew about it. Oh, well. . .

That’s too bad. On a follow up note it looks like they broke the record with 425 people showing up in costume. Nice to bring the title back to the good old U.S. of A.
