Sex, blood and rock'n'roll: Suda 51 announces Lollipop Chainsaw

Zombies never really die. Between Left 4 Dead, Dead Rising, Dead Horde, Dead Nation and the upcoming Dead Island, the bastards simply won’t go away. That’s not likely to change anytime soon, as Suda51 throws his hat in to the undead pool with Lollipop Chainsaw.

Billed as a third person action game bursting (at the oh-so-tiny seams) with “sex, blood and rock’n’roll,” Lollipop Chainsaw introduces cheerleader-cum-scantily-clad-decapitation-extraordinaire Juliet Starling. Apparently things didn’t go so well for her boyfriend, so she carries his head at the end of her mighty rotating blade, as she shreds her way through “zombie rock lords,” which could be hinting at some interesting special guests.

Suda51 is teaming up with Dawn of the Dead writer James Gunn for the potentially cel-shaded affair, which is set to be published by Warner Bros. on 360 and PS3 next year.
