Minecraft 1.7 update not quite what we thought.

Well, good news and bad news: Good news is that the much-awaited 1.7 update to Minecraft – rumoured to add a sky dimension, pistons and the long-discussed Adventure mode – will be released Thursday! Bad news is that it won’t have all the goodies we’ve been waiting for.

Due to Notch being away for a few weeks, the Adventure update has grown in scope to the extent that they’re pushing back the entire update. Instead of the joyous goodness that would be adventure mode, we’re instead just getting pistons and some bug fixes.

It’d be nice for this decision to have been made, I don’t know maybe not three days before we were promised it?
