Mass Effect 2 Aegis Pack Out Today

If you haven’t had your fill of over-powered weapons in Mass Effect 2, well, we’ve got good news for you. Bioware has just released its “Aegis Pack,” which includes the latest “high tech” armor and sniper rile, pictured above. Personally, I’m not sure any new-fangled high-tech can beat the sheer awesomeness of the Cain Heavy weapon, but I digress. Added to Shepard’s locker are M-29 Incisor sniper rifle and the Kestrel armor. “The Incisor is a burst-fire rifle that excels at decimating enemy shields from a distance, while the Kestrel armor comes in 5 pieces.” These 5 pieces have the following effects:

• The Kestrel Helmet adds weapon damage, shield strength, and headshot damage.
• The Kestrel Torso Sheath adds melee and weapon damage and shield strength.
• Kestrel Arm Sheathing adds melee and weapon damage and shield strength.
• Kestrel Shoulder Pieces adds shields and melee damage.
• The Kestrel hip-mounted Power Pack ups shields and heavy weapon ammo capacity.
• The Aegis Pack — for those times when overkill doesn’t seem like enough.
